Hello Students! I think your English is splendid, indeed. Keep right along with your studies and speaking with your wonderful teacher Ms. Sauer and you will learn a lot from her. My favorite sport is College Football and I play beach volleyball with friends in South Florida. I am a newspaper photographer and love taking pictures. Just ask Ms. Sauer about some wonderful stories we worked on together. Maybe she could print some out on paper and hand them out to the class? Have fun and take care. Sincerely, Gary Coronado

Hello, China! You're doing really well! Your speech and comprehension are excellent, and your enthusiasm is contagious. I am a newspaper reporter here in Florida, and once worked with Ms. Sauer, who is a brilliant writer. You are very fortunate to have her as your teacher. Be well and keep studying!
Sincerely, Leslie Streeter

Hello kids, welcome to the 21st century, you are adapting ever so well and you have a wonderful teacher in Ms. Sauer. She's sadly missed here in South Florida. :( Take care and best of luck.

Hello, students!
Thank you so much for sharing your videos. You are all learning English very well. Clearly, Ms. Sauer is doing a fabulous job and having a lot of fun with you!
I live in Grand Junction, Colorado. It is in the desert, not what you would probably expect Colorado to be like. Ms. Sauer's hometown of Palisade is nearby.
I used to work with your teacher at a newspaper in Grand Junction, where she wrote very entertaining and interesting stories. Now I am also a teacher, but I am on summer vacation now.
Congratulations and I hope to see more of your videos soon!

Rachel...This was SO much fun to "meet" your students...see their faces and hear their voices! I watched every video ( and I should have been working)! So tell your class that I played "Hookie" and watched them instead of playing a video game or watching TV...guess that makes them stars!
Thanks again for the viseo! Cheryl

Hello from West Palm Beach, Florida, where your teacher used to live.
I just retired from the newspaper Ms. Sauer worked for. During the 35 years I was there I worked as a staff photographer, director of photography, editorial operations manager and telecommunications manager.
What that means is that I took pictures, sent other people out to take pictures, did newsroom budgets and computer projects and kept the phone systems humming.
Now that I don't have to work a real job, I produce a blog that is sort of about bicycling. I write about rides, review products, talk about things I see and people I meet along the way.

My wife and I just returned from New Mexico, which is very different than the flat, humid state of Florida.
You can see some pictures from our trip on the blog.
You might find one of my recent bike rides interesting.

It shows one of the riders doing the Frog Dance under the Full Moon.
Here are some pictures of kids who are just a little younger than you.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
(Don't be afraid to leave a comment on my blog. I see that I've had 23 Chinese visitors to the site in the last three months. I'd love to have more.)

Hello students! Your videos were so much fun to watch. I hope you make more! It looks like you are working hard but having fun too. I live in Florida and work as a lawyer. I visit people in jail and try to get them back home to their families. Keep studying and keep smiling! I look foward to seeing more videos.

Hi students! I'm writing from Ohio in the U.S. Your English sounds great. I'd love to play some ping pong with you I'm a member of a ping pong club here (just so you don't think Americans never play!) Hope everything is well!

Greetings, students!
You are doing a great job -- I am very impressed! I look forward to seeing more videos and learning more about you.
I live in Florida, where I play volleyball, shoot pool, take care of my cats (their names are Grace Kelly and Daphne) and watch way too many movies.
One of my favorite directors is Zhang Yimou -- I wonder if you have seen any of his films?
Please tell Ms. Sauer "hello" for me. We miss her very much.
Best wishes,
Staci

I have three boys. They are 20, 17 and 14 and they are a lot like you. They like ice cream, basketball and ping pong.

Hi students! You are learning English very well.I live in Palisade, Colorado with my husband and a cat. Your teacher, Ms Sauer tells me that the climate in Korla is very much like it is here.
We are cheering for Kobe Bryant and the Lakers to win the NBA championship. My husband is very tall so he used to play basketball.
Keep studying hard!

Hello students! Ms. Sauer is my little sister and I wish I was in China visiting all of you! I have 5 children, ages 16, 13, 10, 7 and 4. Tomorrow is the last day of school so my children are really happy! During the summer break they are going to swim, play basketball, play computer games, jump on the trampoline, play tennis, play ping pong (we have a ping pong table) and do chores!!
Thanks for telling us about China!
Listen to your teacher!!

PS Ask Ms. Sauer how she broke her foot when she was in 8th grade.

Greetings from West Palm Beach, Florida!
You are SO lucky to have Ms. Sauer teaching you English! I know this because I watched your videos and your English is even better than that of some people I know here in the United States. I was also happy to see that teenagers in China are just as full of energy and mischief as teenagers here. I hope all of you will visit America soon and that more Americans will be able to visit China. Keep up the good work.
Peace!

Wow.
You guys rock. Your English is awesome. One tip: Don't be afraid to speak up when you're talking in English. You have nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed about because you are all really good. Your vocabulary and comprehension is excellent.
If only I could speak a 2nd language. Every one of you is already way smarter than me.
Keep it up!

Hi, students! You're all amazing - your English is excellent! And you look like you're having fun, which is very important. I wish I could speak Chinese!
I live in Ithaca, New York, and work at Cornell, which is a big university with lots of students from all over the world. We have about 500 students from mainland China, and every summer about 50 Chinese high school students study here also. So, if you're interested in coming to the U.S., study hard in school and consider coming to college at Cornell! We would love to have you here.
In the meantime, listen to Ms. Sauer - she is very wise, and we miss her a lot. And keep having fun!

Hi guys! My name is Norienne and I am a 16-year-old American girl. You're doing a great job! I know I could never speak Chinese as well as you speak English.
I live in Virginia, in a town in the mountains called Blacksburg, with my parents, two brothers, and two sisters. School just ended for us, and we are enjoying our summer break.
Keep up the great work! Your teacher, Ms. Sauer, is my aunt. Be nice to her.
Keep posting!

Hello Students,
My name is Angelica. I am 29 years old and my best friend is Melissa, I have known her since I was your age (about 14!). We both like to go shopping, eat at restaurants, and watch movies. Hello Students!
My name is Susie and I live in W.Palm Beach,Florida. Ms. Sauer is a dear friend of mine whom I miss, but I know that she is meant to be in China with you to help you learn English, and learn about our culture. Isn't she fun!!?
Your videos made me smile and you all speak English so well, I was quite impressed! I hope to see more videos of you, it looks like it was a lot of fun to do. The "WAVE" was cute! The boy with the dimples looks like he probably keeps Ms. Sauer on her toes! Keep studying hard and your dreams will be realities!

Wow, you guys are doing great! Your English is fantastic--much better than my Mandarin is! I love your videos. Either Ms. Sauer is a great teacher or you are all very talented and bright students--or most likely, both.
I'm writing from Fort Smith, Arkansas, which is famous for being one of the big frontier towns in America's "Wild West" era, like you see in American Westerns. There are a lot of Native American (Indian) tribes around here and it is still very beautiful. Here is a link to our city's website: www.fortsmith.org. Check us out if you'd like to see more about where I live.

I'm very impressed with your English. I wish I spoke Chinese as well as you speak English. Ms.Sauer is my daughter, and is able to do anything she sets her mind to. Be good to her.

Hello Students!
I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Sauer at the Palm Beach Post. She is such a wonderful person and you are very lucky to have her as your English teacher.
Your English is awesome. You are intelligent and funny. The world needs to laugh a little more and you are helping all of us laugh.
Your videos are great, too. Keep up the hard work and visit us in the United States some day.

Great presentations, students! Your English is very advanced and you seem to be having fun. How is Ms. Sauer's Chinese?
I work in our capital city, Washington D.C. When it isn't raining, I ride my bike to work. How do you get to school? Here, students often take the bus if the school is too far from their home or their parents drive them in cars.
Be good to your teacher, you might be a teacher too someday!

Nice job, students! Your English is better than many American students' English! Please keep posting your videos; I think it's very impressive that you speak another language so well. (And do not challenge your teacher to a Little House on the Prairie smackdown. She will win!)
